my heart goes out to all of you, especially anyone close to this disaster... canada shares this emergency. extra flights were diverted here, and now all airports are closed. every hotel in calgary is without an extra room. my former girlfriend and love, trish is a flight attendant with United, out of New York, assigned to the same newark to sanfran route. United graciously phoned me to tell me trish was safe...but she is in grief for her friends... i was an airport security officer in charge of the vehicular security gate to airside...i know measures will be taken to increase security...it was too lax... i and my colleagues feel this deeply...
