what a sad day this is for united states and for the world. you try and gather your thoughts and everything seems a grim choice between understatement and hysteria. i wanted nothing so much than to leave my office today, find my daughters and hold them in my arms. to say how sorry i am that i can't protect them from all the murders, great and small - that i can't protect them from the horrors in their livingroom, let alone the random madness of the every day. its so depressing, these things we do to each other, country to country, neighbor to neighbor, family to family, list member to list member. with a heavy heart. ric
