Colin, you've expressed my thoughts perfectly. I've been trying to think
of all the ways we could prevent this kind of murderous insanity, through
security measures, war, whatever, and it all seems so futile. I don't feel
comforted by promises that my government is going to retaliate. I feel damn
scared. I really believe our only hope is in some kind of spiritual
awakening (me, the atheist!) We have to change our hearts and we have to
figure out a way to stop turning our little babies into killers.
I don't pretend to know much about the Middle East, but it does seem
apparent to me that those Palestinian kids are being "carefully taught" to
hate.
