As you are being your usual, sympathetic self Paul, let me explain. You need not
have read the entire post to comment on it, but what part of "discussion of
historical facts" do you not understand? He was not preaching, not educating
about religion, but of history. Correcting facts. Something you do all the time
on this list.  And the fact that he IS an ordained priest of the Catholic Church
means he is an authority on the subject whose opinions on a discussed topic are
more than educated.
