kakki, stephen: this thrilled me! i can't wait to hear the details. i was especially excited to hear of joni's writing and painting about 9/11 (or about its aftermath). we need her now, more than ever. we need all artists, of course, but i've been thinking all the time and wondering what ms. mitchell's perspective is on all this -- what she can say or do to help me understand it. (like she has for so many other things...)
