Kakki & Steve, I must admit I am a "Little Green" but I am glad that you had your little "Conversation" with MS.M. I am just catching up late in the day with all of the day's posts and thanks to all who asked all the questions I wanted to ask. I am so excited, I don't think I could have typed all those out.
I guess this is fair warning for all of us to prepare a script of how we would handle it, if and when we meet her. You never know some day somewhere some time - when you least expect it .... Actually having met a few (none so high as she) artists, I have handled it. Not as cool and calm as Kakki and Stephen but I don't believe I have made a fool out of myself. Usually the encounters have been short and typical, except for my cocktail many years ago with a little girl named Ricki Lee. But I would still trade that for a meeting with Joni. I guess the only thing I might have asked her is ... what might she have planned for August 2002 ... say the 23rd - 25th. It sounds like you guys handled it very smooth.
