I would add that if you were to identify yourself as "with the JMDL", it would sound like you were representing the group and/or getting a 'report', which would be a turn-off for Joni, I would think...Kakki knew to open the conversation off with a painting question, and let Joni go from there. (I'll bet those are some angry paintings too...) I remember asking her a question about Hejira, next thing I knew she was talking about Frank Sinatra & Mabel Mercer! Bob NP: XTC, "My Brown Guitar"
