No Kate - Thank YOU! If in every exchange here or there we can touch one person on one point, we can begin to change things. I am glad that you Kate have been there to stand out & help me get back to a spot where I can be somewhat at peace.
Even the "evil cabal" (Chicago political aficionados know this term) had to start someplace with their message of hate, which may not have started out as hateful or extreme. The same can be said of "good" that it may get radically out of control - and then what would happen? We may actually encourage & spread the words of peace, love & understanding - and what's so funny 'bout that? I remember this time called the 60's when everything that young people & black people talked about & fought for seemed soooo impossible, radical - out of the norm ... but almost everything from there is pretty common place today and has been for 30 years now. I don't pretend that everyone is okay with all of it, but we came a long way. And if we are indeed the America we think we are, then we should expect to have the bar raised and our objectives met. It doesn't always take a good ass kickin' to make a point. What makes America so great and the country I love ... that I can say all this freely. You see left-wingers can be patriotic as well.
