I can personally attest to one instance in which a Lehigh University
(Bethlehem, PA) campus bus was asked to remove an American flag for fear
that that it would offend non-American students. That policy was almost
immediately reversed and the poor confused bureaucrat who ordered it wrote a
letter of apology to the newspaper.

I can also report an instance of an anti-war march organized by East
Stroudsburg University students being physically disrupted by pro-war
students. The university officials, to their credit, stepped in to protect
the anti-war folks.
