Well, not much...it's a track on K-Tel's "exposed roots - the best of alt.country". Here's what the liner notes say: "Whatever differences may drive apart rockers & rednecks much of the time, drinkin' songs inevitably bring them together. The Gourds, from Texas by way of Louisiana, turned in this textbook example of the form on their 1998 album Stadium Blitzer. Parlaying instrumentation such as mandolin, accordion, and lap steel into a rootsy, backwoods sound often reminiscent of The Band, The Gourds top it all off with high lonesome vocals from Jimmy Smith and Kevin Russell." Also, a little known fact, this song was used in Jimmy Stewart's "I'm a ice-skatin' redneck, goldurn it!" exhibition show last year! :~D Bob, at work but certainly not working...
