Pets! I've thought that it would be really cool to name a daughter Scout. Or Phoebe because I love Holden's little sister but I don't really like the name Phoebe and besides, at this point everyone associates it with Friends. I could go on, I'm sure, but I have to go read some articles. I'm reading The Amber Spyglass right now, Jacky!! The Subtle Knife is also the same here in the US. I don't know why they changed the name of the first book, but I have to admit, I think The Golden Compass is a much snazzier name than Northern Lights. Though it wasn't REALLY a compass, was it. But I suppose The Golden Alethiometer wouldn't be such an attention-grabber. :-) -Yael
