Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, Ella Fitzgerald, John > Coltrane...these black artists are very close to my soul and lift me up in a > way noone else can.
Everybody has different tastes. So true and what is interesting to me is that what one person can find so great, so touching and moving, another person cannot hear, or feel. Rosalie does not like Joni and laughs at me when I play her music. She loves Stevie Ray and hard rock. The headbangers I call them. That music moves her, touches her; while all it does for me is make me physically ill if I am forced to listen to it. I have tried to expand into other areas and find just what others hear but oft cannot. Is it inherent, learned, what? Mack
