<<Bob is oh-so-right. >> Well, there are two schools of thought, I suppose...if you look at Amazon.com, basically Joni's entire catalogue is priced from $12 to $15 EXCEPT for DED which is priced at $6.97. That's $7 for a brand-new, unsealed CD. Whether we like it or not, it's obviously a turkey in terms of sales.
So, does it seem foolish to do a re-release with new tracks, or would it be a way to generate enough new business and interest? Of course in our world this would be big news, but in the world outside the JMDL it's hardly a spit in the ocean. Look at it this way...would you go back and buy a CD re-release that you didn't have much interest in in the first place?
