Bruce has worked with Ani & Jonatha, so he definitely has good tastes! I'd like to hear Joni & Bruce team up as well. Maybe she could guest on HIS record, as opposed to the other way around. Most of my favorite Joni moments on CD of late have come on other's projects; Kyle Eastwood, Herbie Hancock, and especially her vocal on the Brian Blade disc. Sounds like she opens up more when she's giving a vocal to somebody else's project, like there's less pressure on her or something. Thanks for the delurk, Alan, great post.
