Oh you never know - I believe it!  That's a great story!  My parents had
friends back in the 1940s who lived right on the sand here in Sunset Beach.
A seal befriended them and they made him part of the family.  He had his own
window entrance to the house and slept in the bathtub a lot at night.  He
also rode along in the passenger seat of the car when they went out shopping
and other cars would almost drive off the road at the sight!

Wally and Hell got me remembering those little "warmer weather" penguins
from when I worked at the old Marineland (where they used to film part of
the old Sea Hunt show with Lloyd Bridges) for awhile in high school - they
had their own little pond outside the restaurant.  I never knew they could
be so bristly but they do seem feisty.  But I'd kind of like to have one of
those big tuxedo'ed King or Emperor penguins ;-)
