Aloha and welcome home Kate! It was so great to see you and Jeff again. I think we all could have stayed another few days at Rick's and Brad's Casa. I haven't been to Kauai since I was 20 (lonng ago ;-) and it was the most untouched of the islands at that time. Very rustic and the whole island still ran on one electric generator that went out at least once a night. I also had a supernatural experience with the spirits there that I will never forget. I live in Hawaii a lot in my mind and hope one day to live there for real. Every time I've left the islands I've cried a good deal of the trip home.
And Mr. Murphy, you lucky boy, having lived there for a time! It's funny how every island but Oahu gets the raves but that is the island I would like to live on! (I can always hop over to the others on weekends, you know.) Kakki
