I think the Irish can be emotionally withholding too.  Joni talked about 
this on the interactive MUCHMUSIC program.  I think it's one wanting there 
own space too.  For instance, do not put me in the middle of two people 
sitting on a couch.  I feel like I'm being smothered,I can't take it.  To 
say I LOVE YOU to someone had been up until last year, very difficult for me 
to say.  I think the fear of it not being returned and feeling vulnerable.  
I think that is why some Irish are notorious drinkers... it's really the 
only way they can open up.  Ok what about other cultures?  Which cultures 
are the most open?
