One of my greatest surprises recently was to receive the collection of Jerry's performances from the 70s which Bob transferred to CD. I always knew Jerry had a substantial professional background in music but was totally blown away by his vocal and instrumental performances. I still can't believe he was with us for days in New Orleans and never got up to sing at the Howlin Wolf. Reminds me a bit of early Tom Rush and Gordon Lightfoot but better than both! He has one the most gorgeous voices I have ever heard and truly think his Joni material should be included in the Covers project. Congratulations Jerry on your appointment to the arts council. > Bob, whose last stage show was "Tapestry: The Music of Carole King" That's great Bob! Do you have a recording of it? Hey maybe future Jonifests might evolve to include Joni plays, too! Kakki
