This is really weird because I was just thinking about 'Jacques Brel Is Alive & Well & Living in Paris' in relation to this thread and what should come on the cd player just now but Judy Collins singing Brel's 'Sons Of'. (I picked up a copy of 'Colors of the Day' at a local discount store - an HDCD remaster for only $8.97! What a steal!) 'Jacque Brel is Alive & Well' was performed as a directing class final in the Theatre dept of the university I attended and I've never forgotten it. I think Joni's music would do very well in this type of cabaret/theatrical type setting. Mark E. np: Judy Collins singing Cohen's 'Suzanne' - more synchonicity.
