Willy...my petal... :)

I am hopeing Joni does a promo for her new CD and tours just like she
did for BSN. I often suffer from the woulda coulda shoulda curse. And
like you, I am not an avid concert goer. However, I do have tickets to
see Diana Krall March 15th. I am really looking forward to it.

Last weekend I went to hear Dan Newton at the Coffee Grounds, a coffee
house in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is with the Cafe Accordion Orchestra
and he also plays as Daddy Squeeze. I saw him as the latter. It was so
wonderful to be within several feet of his playing...sipping a
latte...and talking with friends. That boy can play the blues, tango,
musette, anything on the accordion.

Also last week, Mary Louise Knutson...a wonderful jazz pianist, played
for my friend Phyllis' birthday party. She came to the house and played
for 2 hours! It was a gift from Phyllis' partner. To sit in the room or
wander around and hear her play was such a treat. She stayed afterward
and listened to us mortals perform our music for Phyllis.

And Willy, you are so right about JoniFest. A little over 6 months to
go. I am beginning to think of tunes... :) But until then...we will
soon have out videos and we can listen to our CD's to bring back all
sorts of memories. You are a wonderful memory Willy.

Much Love and Peace......Sharon
