OMG!!!! This movie was more than heartwrenching!!! I was pregnant with my
second child when another couple suggested we all go out to the movies and
see this. On a good day, I wear my heart on my sleeve and cry easily, but
pregnant...well, just forget about it! I started crying softly about 10
minutes into the movie, as all movies/things about the Holocaust affect me
that way. By the time she had to choose between her 2 children, I was a TOTAL
wreck!! People were actually moving their seats away from me so they could
hear the movie! God, how embarrassing! Well, I continued that way through the
whole movie, and for 3 HOURS afterwards! Needless to say, the other couple
decided to go home instead of coming back to our house as planned. Haven't
thought about that movie for a long time. {sigh}
Hugs,
Ashara {who hasn't posted this much in AGES!}
