In that movie, Streep says she comes from a little town called Bari, in southern Italy, and Clint surprises her by replying that he knows the place. Well, I was born and still live in Bari. When the movie was released here, people in the cinema started laughing immediately after she said where she came from. In the beginning I thought it was just an odd translation (movies in Italy are usually translated, so you miss 80% of acting), then I realized that it is the same also in the original English soundtrack. It is so difficult to believe that Maryl Streep could have been living here! Many of you and myself grew up with the same musical heroes and myths (Janis, Jimi, CSNY, Joni and so many others), but I live "in the periphery of the empire". Now it is nice to read stories about people who met them. I also realised that some of you are the lucky ones I envied so badly the first time I saw the Woodstock movie! So please, go on telling us everything about the concerts you have been at, about the '60 in California and all that nostalgic, beautiful stuff!!! Ciao a tutti, Mario
