I got Bridges of Madison County out on video recently. I hadn't seen it and really didn't expect to like it much. In fact, it sucked me in right from the start. I enjoyed it immensely and found it very moving. The sign of a good film is when you find it difficult to stop thinking about it for some time after. I couldn't get to sleep for ages! As Bree says, the scene in the truck as Clint's vehicle disappears in the rain is powerful. I guess most of you have seen Eastwood's film on Charlie Parker (Bird)? I enjoyed that one too. Clint is far more than a tough guy (though I love his westerns too!). John (in Sydney). PS. Would members of the JMDL please stop slagging off our dingoes!!! :-) __________________________________________________________________ Get your free Australian email account at http://www.start.com.au
