well, i hear the voices and accents of the people that i've met.
specifically, hell, jimmy, bob muller, ashara [her posts are the ones i
*hear* most vividly], bob murphy [although murphy usually sounds more like
ethel merman in my head], oh les ross -- very vivid too -- patrick leader.
susan guzzi's voice is very memorable too.
in my head, when i read my own posts, i always sound like scott thompson
doing queen elizabeth.
another weird confession: when i am editing, i read the essays aloud with
different accents. i have named them. for example, ''new york latina
barnes&noble check out girl'', ''new england house of seven gables tour
guide'', ''helen mirren'', ''wnyc classical music program host'', etc. i
have always been slightly eccentric. my favorite is ''latina b&n girl.
