yes, of course all HST is classic. i also remembered another one, Timothy Leary's autobiography, Flashbacks. it was so fascinating, especially if you read electric kool aid first. it shows the contrast between east coast/west coast alternative cultures in an interesting way. one of the most best parts of the book is when leary talks about the merry pranksters (kesey's contingency) arriving at Leary's estate in upstate new york. they are all absolutely jumping with excitement to meet the great leary...and he's on a do-not-disturb, three day mushroom experiment in the guest house! so they leave without ever having spoken with him. that's a 3000 mile bummer! tim leary was an incredible guy. alison e. in slc np: george mcgovern on NPR, dianne ream show. talking about world hunger.
