There may be some ingrained resistance to setting your cup on what looks like a $15 CD....maybe if you write 'coaster' on them... They are also good reflectors, nail them on fenceposts in hazardous areas. I also have a clock made from one. RR who also gets lots of duds, building up quite a stack of them...
