Yes, Gil, this is quite momentous for Steve and I, who initially bonded on
the list over this bit of esoterica.  Welcome to our little club and now we
have enough members for the t-shirt ;-)

More obscura!  Another local were you, Nick?!  I virtually lived at the
Sweetwater for a time in around what  - '75-77? when it was about the only
place for live music by the beach.  Don't remember who I saw now - maybe Taj
Mahal - but remember being irked at how the "Sweethearts of the Rodeo" ended
up getting nearly every show there and didn't like their monopoly.  Of
course, I had no clue they would go on to great fame in Nashville and
country music and Janis would marry Vince Gill!
