We went to see this Saturday night. I have to admit the acting was very good, but neither of us could sit through it. We left about halfway through. I wish we hadn't gone to it at all, and I'm sorry we stayed as long as we did. Emotionally powerful, yes. Maybe too much so. I assume the film becomes a bit more hopeful in the second half. lots of love Anne
