This year should be yet another fantastic Fest. You were all very
generous last year in donating items to be raffled off. The items to be
raffled are usually more unique and a bit more expensive than the give
away table. Having the raffle enables us to raise funds for our site.
We alternate between Jim and Les. Last year the funds went to support
the site Jim handles and we raised about $600.00. This year the funds
will go to Les to offset his costs. I hope we can double it because we
have more people coming and I know how generous all of you are.

Les does incredible work for us and we all want this to continue. If it
were not for his efforts we would not be having any Joni conversations
or Fests. Therefore, what we are looking for are old posters, albums, a
Joni guitar, pictures...anything Joni...that is unique and well...let me
just say it...more expensive than the give-aways. So...those pictures
where you colored yourself next to Joni will not do. Sorry.

If you would e-mail me off list with your ideas I would greatly
appreciate it. And finally all of the donations should be sent to
Ashara since this bee-girl does not want to fly from Minnesota to New
York with raffle gifts. Especially since I will be laden with my
accordion, lemon bread and honey.

Queen Ashara and I have talked about how to set up times to buy raffle
tickets and there will be plenty of time while at the Fest with no sales
during performances.

Okay Joni lovers....let me hear form you. You know I will be nudging
you from now until the Fest to donate...and then at the Fest to BUY BUY
BUY!!!
Paz may loan me his glitter shoes and I will bring my feathers...stircly
to enhance sales of course.

Love and peace.......Sharon
