and in the trivia department (honest, I'm not making this up) the guy announcing at all the Olympic figure skating events is named Jimmy Webb (we used to tease him about that...) He skated at BU in college at the same time I did. Anyway, Jimmy decided he wanted to do some pairs skating. My twin sister and I both thought it would be fun. He couldn't decide between us, so he said that the first one of us to be able to land an axel would be his partner. I landed an axel first. So we tried one lift. I damn near took his nose off! So, he put me down and he and my sister skated together for a year or two. oh, and I remember meeting Toller Cranston. Yup, smarmy's the word, although at the time I thought he was fantastic. as for the sqeaky clean skater - ROTFLMAO. lots of love Anne
