Dear Brenda,

The nice thing is that I have never given up on the music business despite my
negative experiences. I truly believe that you were a good A&R person because
I feel that you sincerely care about artists. I'm not trying to paint Clive
Davis as a saint, but he seems to have the same qualities, and he seems to
really love music as well as developing artists. When I see people like him
and you, it's hard to totally give up on the industry. I do hope it changes
and eases up on the greed factor. I believe that financial circumstances in
the industry will force it to do so, or the industry will go down trying to
hang on to too much of the pie.

Sincerely,
Sherelle
