I feel about them like Joni does about the early songs she wrote in her 20s (naive, etc.) Maybe with a martini to soften me up, I'll play it for you someday ;-) The song has sort of a personal "I love L.A." and nothing can drag me away theme, but it is not like Randy Newman's song and was written long before his. It also definitely shows Joni influence ;-)
