While Kakki was at Staples listening to CSNY, my husband and I were at the Oakland
Arena seeing the
opening night of the Paul McCartney tour.
It was an excellent show with an incredible audinece who like those at CSNY were
smiling and happy for the entire 2 1/2 hour show.
Paul played old songs (Beatles, Wings) and new songs from Driving Rain (Vanilla Sky,
the title tune and Freedom).
Great light show, + "pre-show", extraordinary energy from all on stage.
It was worth the 3 hour (one way) trip and even the price for the seats.
