I had a small party last night and set up the CD player ahead of time with
my favorites, one of which was BSN which I haven't played in a long time.
(I considered Turbulent Indigo, thinking, let's see, song about desperate
lady trying to shoot a light out ... no. Song called 'Sex Kills' ... no.
'Magdalene Laundries' ... no. Not a good party CD). The party ended
before BSN came on. I sat down to try to start a book while it played, but
the music was so compelling I couldn't concentrate on the book. I found
myself reading and re-reading the same sentence and still not comprehending
anything. I still teared up at "A Case of You."

The timeless power of our Joan.
