Well allright...now you asked for it yourself...
Hi everybody...im quite new on the list....and would like to introduce
myself...im 24 years old and have only been a Joni fan for a couple of
months...it started with me wondering why everytime a musician had to choose a
top 10 of records they semed to pick "Blue" as one of the records.....so on
the 23. of december last year in a terrible show blizard i went to a local
shop a bought Blue.......i listent to it all christmas (its actually the
perfect record when its snowing outside) and in January i bought: "Clouds", "C
& S" & "For the Roses" too
And finally this month I bought "Turbulent Indigo" just too hear what her
"newer" stuff was like.....i must say i love the deep voice she has now
too....
Thats about it.......besides Joni i also hear a lot of Neil Young and Bob
Dylan + various newer bands like Mercury Rev, Cocteau Twins & so on..........
And by the way i also play guitar and have of course been playing in open
tunings most of the time lately......until now only open G and open D but im
sure it will only get stranger from now on :-)
