Bob, thanks to you, Phillip, Stephen and Jerry for the latest volume - this is indeed a collection of gems.
My initial comments: > 1. The Bully Boys - Woodstock Medley: subtitled "The Paz/Kakki Special"! ;~) LOL - I thought that fuzztone sounded quite Steely Dan-ish. > 3. Margret RoadKnight - Marcie: I got this one from Margret herself! Excellent > 4. Peter Mulvey - River: Beautiful and again I was thinking - "but isn't it Robert Downey, Jr.?" ;-) > 5. Morning - For Free: From the 70's, this one sounds like The Association This one really haunted me - the singer and the piano sounds *exactly* like an old boyfriend of mine. If anyone has more details on this group, I would really like more information (looked around the net and could not find anything.) > 6. Elvis Costello - Edith & The Kingpin: Damn - I wanted to go to this show so badly but it was sold out immediately. It's a stunning but boy, I sure thought Elvis sounded like Paz on this one - seriously! > 11. Christine Ebersole - Turn Around/The Circle Game: She is a great singer and it's nice to have this cover. > 13. Loaded Boxers - Big Yellow Taxi: Arrrrgh!! ;-) > 14. Vocalogy - The Dry Cleaner From Des Moines: Another JMDL exclusive! Fantastic! > 15. Lisa Theriot - The Urge For Going Really nice cover from a related listmember. > 16. June Tabor - The Fiddle & The Drum (live): Very nice rare find. > 18. The Triban - Night In The City: I always love this one. Thanks again Bob, and keep 'em rollin'! Kakki
