With Kakki's great review of the CSNY tour, I am kicking myself for not
going to Toronto to see the boys. I tried to convince myself that it
wouldn't be a good thing to do, way out there in terms of cost, and I
remember well the disappointing acoustics (or lack thereof) at the Joni
concert here in 98. (imagine that being your first Joni viewing) :-(
(no offense Joni...the Gardens is not your venue...and I still think it
was awful there because of all that had gone on...thank goodness it is
closed now. Yea, too bad they didnt choose Massey Hall..alas I
digress). Anyway, I just didn't think that seeing the boys at the Air
Canada centre was a good idea. (still feeling the sting of not
going...waaaaaaa).
I lost all of my albums in the backdraft of another life and have been
picking up the odd one here and there, biting at the bit to hear CSNY
in particular, so last night I picked up Deja Vu. What a journey to the
past! And I agree, our Victor is Neil. No question.
