Oh, another convert! :-) I know it was hard to confess that :-) And now I am feeling bad because I missed last Saturday's SNL and I don't even remember why. The kid has got talent, real talent. I keep waiting getting to kicked out of the JMDL because I really like Eminem's music. Of course, most of my friends think I am crazy too, but for me, when i really listened to it (thanks to Michael Yarbrough and where have you been, Michael?) I was blown away by the talent and the power. > Of course, I may regret these words if next time I listen to the song I hear > lyrics about chopping up his mother and feeding her to dogs actually he said his mother was an drinkin' druggie whore and she sued him for millions, his defense was, it was the truth, and lo and behold it was. They had a settlement of a little over $1,000. One of his songs has a great line about being bummed out when he found out his mother did more drugs then he did. I am really waiting for the new cd. His first two albums are almost operatic in scope, and the 2nd album continued from where the first album ended, and I am waiting the next installment. I also saw some clips from the upcoming movie, 8 Mile Road - a very detroit reference by the way, the dividing line between Detroit and the suburbs - and it looked pretty good. At least he has some real presence on screen. Vince NP: White Sox hosting Anaheim and we tied it up while I was typing this
