Thom Bell, along with Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff, basically engineered the "Philly Soul" sound of the 60's and 70's that I LOVE. The O'Jays, The Delfonics, The Stylistics...the list goes on & on. While most of the disco stuff has become novelty and pieces for the time capsule, Philly soul still sounds great.
