i'm glad to see ellen mentioned. you hit the nail on the head, anne, with this description of ellen's version of ode to billy joe. it's one of my favorites. the closest that ellen is playing around here is in woodstock, ny this month. i'm hoping she gets closer to this area (ct/ma). thanks for mentioning this.
