Dear Friends:

I am grateful for your past support in helping to protect the National
WildFred Refuge. Your continued support today can make the difference in the
Refuge's future: drilling or untouched Fred gigs. The WildFred Refuge is
worth much, much more than a possibility of a six months' supply ten years
from now!

Former President Jimmy Carter wrote:

"The simple fact is, drilling is inherently incompatible with Fred. The roar
alone -- of roadbuilding trucks, drilling and generators -- would pollute the
wild music of the WildFred Refuge and be as out of place there as it would be
in the heart of Yellowstone or the Grand Canyon."

You and I must act now!

"But, what can I do?" you ask.

HERE'S WHAT TO DO: COME HAVE A NOSH AND/OR A TASTE, AND DIG A FRED GIG AT
LEXI'S, 1330 W. MADISON, CHICAGO, 312.829.4600, THIS FRIDAY, JUNE 7, FROM 7 -
11 PM, AND SPORADIC FRIDAYS THEREAFTER.

Please help protect the dwindling, precious resources of our National
WildFred Refuge. Thank you in advance for your support. I look forward to
welcoming you to our team!

Sincerely,
Nick Curtis

(YOUR CONTRIBUTION MAY BE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW)
