wow...it must be like two years since I've posted to the list... I typed a few articles I noticed Les needed transcribed a couple of days ago and I've been saturating myself with the songs from Both Sides Now lately and so with his mention that I should post again...here I am...breaking my vow of silence.
maybe I'll splash back in with this bit of goofiness: I actually sang this for a crowd of about 400 in Vancouver one night at the Arts Club Theatre. I introduced it in a serious way and emulated all the emotional nuances that Mitchell used in the real song. I had practiced it about a week in order to get my mouth around some of the sounds. Some people got it...some didn't know what to think.
