Now that I'm back on my feet financially, I'm able to buy music again.
Tonight I ordered two JMDL-related discs from CD Baby. First was the long
overdue acquisition of Jeff Bisch's "40 watt stars". You guys will be
surprised to hear that our own Bryan Thomas (who hasn't checked in for too
long) released "ones and zeros" in 2002. I picked that up too. Amazingly,
you can buy quantity one of Bryan's new title for $10 or quantity of two for
$12. Buy one for $10 and get the second one for $2. I went for it. I
guess my radio dj friend will get the second one. Hey, I'm helping Bryan
"push digits".

Maybe in a couple of weeks I'll try Rebecca Jensen's "Byupe" (2002). She
thinks enough of us JMDLers to count herself among our artists. Rebecca,
are you lurking?

If you go over to www.cdbaby.com you may also want to consider these discs
which are already in my collection and are recommended:
Kate Bennett's "Over the Moon"
Victor Johnson's "Tangled"
Bryan Thomas'es "Radio Plastic Jennifer"
and Clark Carlton's "Salt Water"

BTW, "Beautiful Morning" is from some other Victor Johnson, not ours. You
won't find CDs by Gregg Cagno (USA, New Jersey?), Fred Simon (USA, Chicago),
David Lahm (USA, New York City), Big Yellow Taxi (Denmark), Beth Patterson
(USA, New Orleans), Maurizio Falcone (Italia), Karen Goldberg (USA,
Baltimore), Alexandra Fortier, Louis Lynch, Don Rowe, or Shadows and Light.
How do we get these, guys?

News as it happens....

Lamadoo
