hi all. OK, i'm sort of embarrassed to admit this, but:
i'm a somewhat avid reader of "US" magazine...that's right,
the junk-filled celebrity rag that fills its pages with
all sorts of breaking news like "SPOTTED! Ben Affleck
ordering a Vanilla Latte!"
anyhoo, in this week's issue (the lovely and billy bob-free
angelina jolie on the cover), they have a silly feature
called "lookalikes," with a small corner dedicated to
how aimee mann and joni mitchell are, essentially, similar!
they have a picture of joni, from what era i can't tell--
and one of aimee, and they note that aimee's new album
("lost in space") is due out in august.
i don't know that they look so much alike, but i do know
that these two artists pretty much make up my entire
favorite music list, so...
i'm taking it as a sign that reading "US" is a good idea.
