Hey-
I personally love that song about her 'poor maid'. Joni called her on
her shit. If you ever had someone like that in your life, you also might
appreciate it. It's dark and moody- hanging out in a minor chord most of
the time, with some undercurrent of dread. Haunting, just like the situation.
And what's wrong with expressing a little anger and frustration in a song?
At least it was a creative way to vent.
Just like DED. I applauded Joni when it came out, even though I would
have liked to hear more songs like LG, GF, ID and ST. She saw the world for
what it was and then all the news broke on TV evangelists and such. She is
definately a seer. Blew me away.
Just my two cents...
