She did perform DJRD a couple of times on her '98 tour. Did a great job, was especially nice with Brian Blade driving the rhythm. ; and the fourth side had > DJRD, which seems a lot like a companion song to Coyote to > me They were written around the same time, and were performed as a medley on the '76 tour. Why she put one on Hejira and one on DJRD is anyone's guess I suppose. Oh, and thanks for sharing the memories, Walt. I would think that most of us have some pretty strong ones tied to Joni's music.
