I am sure this has been here, but I wanted you all to know what a delightful book has been written on the life of the Late Great Laura Nyro. It is called Soul Picnic, and written by my friend Michele Kort. I know that many musicians frequent this site, and this book was written from the studio perspective shall we say. It takes you through the album processes, interviews by the muses, and is really fun, and funny. I think you all would fine it a great summer nights read.
