Sean, sorry about your friend. Have lost so many animal friends over the years that I really could not count them all. Never gets easier but I always remind myself that I did my best. I gave them my all and I could have done nothing else to make their lives better. They will never leave me and wherever they are, they know it too. Though it may sound silly, after each one dies I have a funeral and then wait for the wind. When it comes, I send their soul off, to go wherever they may. Again, sorry for your loss.
