i doubt anyone can tell when a singer has been tweaked...also protools is used for much more than pitch...think of it like a word processor where you can cut & paste things in different places...i kind of see protools as the equivalent of using a computer as opposed to a typewriter...its just a computer program that has become pretty standard in the world of recording...
>Not so sure about Not so sure about Pro Tools, though, as one of its most pernicious uses is to adjust the pitch of singers who couldn't hit a note at 6 paces with a blunderbuss. I'd like to think I can tell when a singer has been thus "tweaked", but who knows, maybe we're losing the battle..> ******************************************** Kate Bennett: www.katebennett.com Sponsored by Polysonics/Atlantis Sound Labs Over the Moon- "bringing the melancholy world of twilight to life almost like magic" All Music Guide ********************************************
