I grew up in Cleveland and I remember Kucinich's time as Mayor. The future bag man for the AFL-CIO had one of the worst terms in public office I've ever personally witnessed. The city of Cleveland went into default with banks. Every kid I knew had a "Dennis the Menace" t-shirt with a caricature of the boy mayor made to look like Alfred E. Newman on the front. The resemblance was striking, still is....look at the ears: http://www.house.gov/kucinich/ http://www.dccomics.com/mad/ To say he was a laughing stock would be putting a nice turn on a nasty situation. He also shares a very unique distinction with Jerry Springer - Ohio mayors, elected young (early 30's) who turned broadcast talk show host (He did radio and local news before trying to run for office again.) Wish I still had that shirt..... B n.p.: Kids In the Hall -------------------------------------------- "Radio has no future" - Lord Kelvin, 1897
